Why Black and Grey Only?

Smyrna has a lot of places that will take any tattoo. I don't, and I'd rather explain why than surprise you halfway through a package.

My laser is a Q-switched Nd:YAG at 1064 nm. That wavelength is very good at breaking up black and grey ink, and it's the one that's safest across skin tones. It isn't built for red, green, yellow or purple.

So if your tattoo is black or grey, you're in the right place. If it has color, I'll tell you at the free consult and point you somewhere better suited, instead of charging you for sessions that won't do much.

Getting here: Most Smyrna clients come up Cobb Parkway or hop on I-75 north for one exit. The studio is right off the Delk Road exit (261), about 10 minutes from Market Village outside rush hour, with parking at the building.

What if my tattoo is mostly black with a little color?

Bring it to the consult. Often I can treat the black and grey parts and be clear about what will be left.

How is pricing set?

By size, per session, from $150 for up to 2 square inches. Eyebrow removal is $250 a session.

Do I need to take anything off before the session?

Come with clean skin, no lotion or self-tanner on the area, and no sunburn.

Can I work out after?

Give it 24 to 48 hours. Heat and sweat can irritate freshly treated skin.
