Brow PMU Consent Form

Please prepare so your brows heal beautifully:

• Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before — they thin the blood and increase sensitivity and bleeding.
• Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) for 48 hours before, unless prescribed by your doctor.
• Stop retinol, retinoids, and exfoliating acids on the brow area 1–2 weeks before.
• No Botox near the brows or forehead for at least 2 weeks before.
• No brow waxing, tinting, or threading for a few days before, and no tanning or sunburn on the face.
• Eat a meal beforehand and arrive with your brows how you normally wear them.

For the next 7–10 days while your brows heal:

• Keep the area clean and follow the healing method (dry-heal or ointment) Mia gives you at your appointment.
• Do not pick, scratch, or rub — let any flaking come off on its own.
• No makeup on the brows while they heal.
• Avoid sweating, swimming, saunas, hot showers, and direct sun for about 2 weeks; keep water off the brows.
• Your color looks bold at first and softens 30–50% as it heals over 3–4 weeks — that's completely normal.
• Your 6–8 week touch-up perfects the shape and color and completes your service.
