Waxing Consent Form

A little prep makes waxing smoother and less irritating:

Let hair grow to about ¼ inch (roughly 2–3 weeks of growth).
Gently exfoliate the area the day before — not the day of.
Avoid retinoids on the area; do not wax if you’re on Accutane/isotretinoin.
Avoid sun, tanning, and heavy lotion on the area right before.

For the next 24–48 hours:

Avoid heat — no hot showers, saunas, steam, sweaty workouts, or sun for 24–48 hours.
Skip exfoliating and harsh products on the area for 48 hours.
For Brazilian/bikini, wear loose clothing to avoid friction.
Start gently exfoliating again after a few days to prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid touching freshly waxed skin to keep it clean.
