Waxing results typically last 3–6 weeks. Because waxing removes the hair from the root, regrowth comes in softer and finer with consistent sessions. Most clients book every 4 weeks.
Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long — roughly 2–3 weeks of growth. If hair is too short, the wax can't grip it properly. Avoid shaving between appointments.
Exfoliate the area 24 hours before (not the same day). Do not apply lotion the day of your appointment. For a Brazilian, wear loose, comfortable underwear. Take ibuprofen 30 minutes before if you're sensitive.
There's some discomfort, especially for your first wax. It gets easier with regular appointments as the hair becomes finer. We use premium wax formulas designed to minimize pain and skin trauma.
No. Waxing is not safe for clients currently using or who have used Accutane within the past 6 months, or retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin) in the treatment area. These thin the skin and waxing can cause tearing and injury.
